Wallpaper linkage

My favorite place for gorgeous high-res wallpaper:

InterFaceLift.com.

I've been meaning to recommend it for a while, but after seeing this photo today, I knew I had to tell you at once. So pretty!

Also, I rip some of them off for icons occasionally. Too lovely to resist.

Oooh, nice link! That'll be good for at work, especially, as I can't use porny fanart there like I can at home ;)

I'm rather (shockingly) taken with Trajectory, myself.

I had my eye on that one too. I like that the site runs the range from pretty landscape photos to cool digital art. And arranges them by predominant color, among other categories. :)

Wow! I see what you mean. I think you just found my new work wallpaper!

Thanks for the link! :)

No problem! I remember at work it was always hard to find decent high-res wallpaper that didn't involve downloading some troublesome application that would get me in trouble with the IT dept... :)

Thanks for sharing! I've had the same image on my desktop for months... this just might be what I need to change that :D

No problem! Yeah, this site inspires to change mine every couple weeks at least, which is way more than I used to.

No problem!

And that's a pretty cool icon, too.

It is a small part of Marcel Duchamp's "Étant Donnés" installation. The main focal point is rather uncouth. I love the gaslight, though.

From the description I see it would be difficult to get a good feel for the piece online, but yes, that detail of it is gorgeous.

Why is it all the rubbish wallpaper sites always hit the top 20 things in Google and really good ones like this are hidden away and I only ever seem to find them through other people?

I've downloaded half of them over the past week :)

I know--I had to do some long searching before I found this one. The others are riddled with pop-up windows, and their wallpaper is all sportscars and supermodels. Ugh.
