Crushes and a survey

Feeling better about thesis progress today. So, am taking a break to do what the friends list tells me to:

orbasm wants each of his friends to put a photo of their celebrity crush on their journal, so after much soul-searching I selected my dear jailbait Elijah...

And kateelvellon wants us to fill out this little survey, so here's a slightly shortened version. Questions that I deem lame or uninteresting have been taken out.

Starting time: 2:38 p.m.
Date: May 13, 2003
Name: Molly
Age: 27
School: UC Davis
Email: That's on the userinfo, if you want it.
Color of eyes: Brown/green
Hair color: Light brown-red/dark blonde-red.
Height: Nearly 5'3"
Shoe size: 7 1/2
Brothers/sisters: 3 sisters
Who lives with you: Steve
When is your bedtime: Midnight to 1 a.m. these days

HAVE YOU EVER
Been so drunk you blacked out: Nope
Missed school because it was raining: No; that would not work in Oregon.
Put a body part on fire for amusement: No; just done that flick-fingers-through-candle-flame thing.
Been hurt emotionally: No; I live in a complete vacuum. (Yes; duh.)
Wanted to hook up with a friend: Yes, and still am hooked up with him.
Cried during a movie: Generally not in a theater; but at home, yeah.
Had a crush on a teacher: Not till lately. And even that one is pretty tame.
Ever thought an animated character was hot: Not "hot," really, but cute...
Had a New Kids on the Block tape: Don't think so...except maybe as a joke.
Cut your hair: Yes. With the scissors on a Leatherman tool, even.

FAVORITES
Color: Dark green and black
Day/Night: Night
Summer/Winter: Winter
Smiley: I'm fond of :D , but it must be used sparingly.
Lace or satin: Satin
Fave cartoon characters: Harvey Birdman, Kip from "Futurama," the kodamas from "Princess Mononoke," the sootballs from "Spirited Away"...
Fave food: Greek or Indian/Nepalese
Fave advice: If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to be a horrible warning.
Fave movie: LotR movies
Fave ice cream: Mint choc-chip
Drink: Water
Pets: None
Song: I do not have one single favorite song. But lately I've rediscovered that I still really love "Sometimes," by James.
Scent: Lemon, Russian olive trees in bloom (they smell like starfruit), rain on the street

RIGHT NOW, WHAT ARE YOU
Wearing: Red ribbed T-shirt, black capri pants, dark red toenail polish
Hair: Pulled back at the top and secured with a little black coated rubber band. Kind of like Legolas without the braids.
I'm feeling: Pretty good.
Eating: Had some cookie dough a minute ago...raw eggs! Living on the edge!
Drinking: Water
Thinking about: How to rewrite the latest novel in progress so that something interesting actually happens early on; whether my friend from high school will answer my email (he's an interesting character...or should I say "she"? I think that illustrates the interesting part); reminding self not to forget to go back in to campus for a colloquium thing later this afternoon.
Listening to: *silence*

IN THE LAST 24 HOURS, HAVE YOU
Cried: No
Worn a skirt: No
Met someone new: Yes
Cleaned your room: No

Drove a car: No
Last CD you bought: "Painted from Memory," E. Costello and B. Bacharach

Ghosts: No, but I sort of hope they're real.
UFO's: Yes, I believe that some objects may be both flying and unidentified.

FRIENDS AND LIFE
Do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend: Husband.
Like anyone: Uh, ditto.
Would you date the person who sent you this: I don't know, Kate, what do you think? ;) Maybe if Orlando joined us and gave us some compassion...

Wow... that is a truly yum pic of Elijah you have there. But then, I like to tie things up. Erm...

I don't know, Kate, what do you think? ;) Maybe if Orlando joined us and gave us some compassion...
Yes. In that case, I would definitely be willing to date you. Even if just for the night. I'm not selfish. I can share!
Eeeeehehehe. (yes, that was a witch laugh. you heard right!)

Elijah's growing out of the baby look nicely, isn't he?

Hehe...I'll definitely play nice and share if Orlando is the third party. I'd think about making an exception to the "no one-night stands" rule, too...

Re:
I mean, our wisdom, his compassion...
The things we would do for the sake of our enlightenment. We are saints, you realize.

see, the thing about Elijah is though, is wouldn't you think that the faces he'd make while pounding you would be funnier than shit? i'd start laughing like a mofo... unless you're down with that pounding from behind action, but then what's the point of taking it like that if you can't see your celebrity crush? therefore, my original point: i couldn't keep myself from laughing. then again, i'm not gonna get pounded by Elijah, so maybe i need to rethink my theory....

Oh, absolutely. In fact, I'd encourage it: "OK, now make the face like you just got stabbed by a Nazgul. Now do the Ring-lust face. Mm, yeah. Now do the Huck-Finn-chased-by-his-dad face."

Alas, I'm not likely to get any from him, either...

Re:
well, the laughing has to help the Kegel's so i guess it'd be good for him, too.

so we're both in the same boat then. d'oh!

You know, those ring-things aren't too far away from handcuffs, if you use your imagination.

I'm just saying...

Indeed. There are some serious possibilities with this photo. ;)

Oh... wow. Why does it look like he's handcuffed? Not that I'm complaining or anything...

And I love mint chocolate chip ice cream. Damnit, now I WANT some! I blame you, of course. ;P

Hee. The handcuff interpretation seems popular. And, no, none of us seem to mind.

I don't have any ice cream either, alas. *sigh* The unfairness of it all.

Don't ask me how in the world I ended up here. Have no idea. Though, I gotta say, I made a pointallism picture of that same photo for an art project...and yes, everyone thought he was in handcuffs. So now apparently I am one kinky bitch. Junior high, what're you gonna do?

Junior high kids are kinky bitches these days, huh? How the times have changed... :)

Hey, Bremerton! My family has a vacation house near there. I've taken the Seattle-Bremerton ferry more times than I can count. I miss Puget Sound...
